CarbonLib Readme
This disk contains an installer for the latest available CarbonLib from AppleComputer as of the release of this version of DataStudio.

What Is CarbonLib?
CarbonLib is a shared library provided by AppleComputer which allows a "Carbonized" application to run natively on OS 8, 9, and X. DataStudio is "Carbonized" as of the 1.8 release. This is also true of EZ Screens, WavePort, and the DataStudio installer.

Do I Need CarbonLib?
If you are running MacOS 8.x, and have not yet installed CarbonLib for another application, you need to install CarbonLib before running the DataStudio installer.

How Do I Install CarbonLib?
Double-click the "CarbonLib Install" file. CarbonLib will be installed into the extensions folder of your computer. If a newer CarbonLib is alread present, the installer will do nothing.
